The Operation of Use

1) Connect Atyxx EV Charger to mains supply through its 13A UK plug directly to wall socket, not through any adaptor or extension lead ;

2) Adjust and set your desired charging current setting (6A, 8A, 10A or 13A) by pressing Power Button at control box, before insert the Vehicle Connector to the EV - Electric Vehicle (Once the Vehicle Connector has plugged into EV, the charging current setting cannot be adjusted) ;

3) Plug the Vehicle Connector to the EV, and charging will start automatically at your desired set current ;

4) Ensure digital screen and LED indicator lights showing the EV is under charging, and double check all the connections before you leave ;

5) After charging, disconnect the UK plug and Vehicle Connector from the EV ;

6) EV Charger will record this current setting and let you use the same current setting for the next time .

Design Concept

Let's talk about the design concept of our Atyxx EV Charger! 😊 As in Europe, there are two codes of practice of installing wall sockets or light switches at home, for UK, the wall sockets or light switches should be mounted between 450mm to 1200mm above the floor level, while in Europe, these figures has been adjusted to 300mm to 900mm. 👍🏼

The main purpose to have these codes of practice is to take care of most people, so that wall socket and light switches are easily reachable, even for the people need to use wheelchair etc. ❤️😋

That is one of the reasons, we have decided to make our EV charger with 1000mm mains cable, in order to let the control box can lay on the floor and reduce the stress upon to the wall socket. If wall socket is located at 1200mm height, and the EV charger mains cable is short, where the control box may need to hang below the wall socket, and producing great bending force through the UK plug to the wall socket! For long time, it will make damage and having danger to the wall socket, or even making cracks to the wall socket! ☹️

All our Atyxx EV Chargers are subject to rigorous testing to ensure they meet our strict production parameters. This involves running each charger through a Programmable Auto EV Charger Tester, which must certify that they have passed all required tests before they can be dispatched from the factory.

This automatic testing is merely one of the many final inspections conducted during production. In fact, every Atyxx EV Charger undergoes a series of rigorous inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This includes in-process inspections on semi-finished products, as well as incoming inspections of various types of inbound raw materials. These checks are all part of our unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality EV chargers to our customers.
